LG Viewty Review - Digital Camera With a Phone
Posted by : gtFrom some angles, the LG Viewty looks more like a camera with a mobile phone attached than it does a mobile phone with a camera attached; and while the distinction may really be minimal, it accentuates the manner in which the LG Viewty differentiates itself from other competition. As it is the LG answer to its competitors new and improved camera-phones, it does seem somewhat fitting that it should be the camera aspect that takes centre stage.
Features of the LG Viewty
Firstly, and unsurprisingly, there is the camera. At 5 megapixels of complete quality, it equals the best on the market in terms of sheer raw ability to photograph images and video with stunning definition. On top of that however, LG has packed into this latest treat a flash, which can be used to great advantage at times of bad lighting, against anything within 2.5 metres. To further combat bad lighting, the auto focus lamp combined with the existing auto focus system ensures that the image captured is sharp, clear and completely in focus.
In terms of video capture, the LG Viewty films jaw dropping quality video definition at high frame rates. Complementing both the video and image capture features is the storage capability with microSD memory cards that offer a range of speeds and sizes for any preference, as well as 90 MB of internal storage.
By retaining one of the best features of its predecessor, the LG Prada, Viewty has a full fledged touchscreen that not only adds to its feel, but is both easy and pleasant to use. At a time when most other mobile phones utilise partial touchscreens only for the bare minimum of functions, the LG Viewty's entire screen is a touchscreen. For the uninitiated, it may require some getting used to, however the range of options as well as the soft vibration that indicates a 'clicked' button aids the acclimatisation process.
Of course as could be expected, the LG Viewty also includes music playback, 3G capabilities with HSDPA technology for even faster data downloads, as well as the (now standard) Bluetooth and USB connection options.
Camera Enthusiasts Choice
For anyone that loves to use their mobile phone to capture that one special moment, either in video or image, the LG Viewty offers the ability to do so to what can only be called perfection. Other phones come close, but never really have any combined both video and image capabilities into a single, great looking, package that embodies its function quite stylishly.
Even for those who don't generally use cameras so much, owning the LG Viewty practically would make them want to use the camera.
By combining functions seamlessly, it is hard to tell where the camera ends and the mobile phone begins, however that is not a bad thing with such great potential as enjoyed by the LG Viewty. Indeed, it would be surprising if any new mobile phone buyer did not check out the mobile phone deals that include an LG Viewty or allowed for it to be purchased, purely by merit of the attraction that it offers.

You're Wearing Crocs?
Posted by : gtCrocs shoes are becoming more and more popular everywhere you go. When I say "Crocs shoes", I don't mean shoes made of crocodile skin, but rather a new shoe trend that is sweeping the nation
Crocs shoes originally came from Canada. Now, the Crocs company is based in Boulder, Colorado. Crocs are made from a patented closed-cell resin, which makes them comfortable and pliable. They are especially great for people who are on their feet all day, like food service personnel, medical personnel and others.
I've heard from doctors and nurses that after wearing Crocs all day, not only do their feet feel great, but any back problems they normally suffered with were gone. This is not to say that Crocs will solve all your medical problems. But you will definitely feel better
One of the benefits of this patented closed-cell resin is that the shoes are unable to absorb odor. It's amazing, but even after wearing the shoes all day, they will not stink. Another benefit is that the shoes are so light they actually float when dropped in water. Crocs are great for people on boats. Not just for the floating, but because they also have a good grip on the deck
Some people have worn Crocs-like shoes for tasks such as gardening. Crocs are also great for tasks like this. They are super-easy to clean... just hose them off and let them dry.
Crocs come in a variety of models and colors. The most common Crocs have ventilation holes throughout the top of the shoe, others only have ventilation around the sides leaving the top solid for protection from spilled liquids. An older model was fully enclosed, but I think it may have been too hot for normal wear.
The huge variety of fashionable colors available make Crocs an excellent choice to go with any outfit. Having multiple pairs of Crocs makes it easier to mix and match and make the right fashion choice.
What about size? Crocs generally run a little bit large. Some models, like the Beach model, in size groups like small, medium and large others, like the Cayman model, come in full sizes like 8, 9 and 10. Since the sizes are unisex, you need to look at a chart to determine whether you are looking at men's or women's sizes. If you normally wear a size 8, and the chart shows a shoe that would be size 8 to 9, you may want to consider the next size down. However, if you normally wear a size 9, you will probably be okay with an 8 to 9.
You owe it to yourself to try a pair of Crocs shoes. They will be the most comfortable shoes you may ever try, and your feet will thank you for the purchase.

Panasonic Projection TV Review
Posted by : gtInnovation
While Panasonic is widely renowned for its high quality plasma televisions, they certainly have a great range of projection TV's on offer as well. One of the main features of Panasonics range of Rear Projection HDTVs is its long lasting bulb. Panasonic says the bulb will actually last the length of the set itself, meaning you will never have to replace it. Along with the long lasting bulb, Panasonic have come up with a new light source which they call LIFI. LIFI (which stands for Light Fidelity) has an exceptionally long life compared to the traditional HID (High Intensity Discharge). It also has accurate primary colors, a quick start up time and is much more cost effective for the consumer.
Stylish Design
Panasonics range of Rear Projection HDTVs have a very stylish look about them that fit into just about any decor. Their latest is the Aero Silhouette Design which combines a gently curved rear panel with a flat front panel to create a sleek, balanced look that adds beauty to virtually any decor. Overall the Panasonic projection TV has always had a classy, stylish look about them along with a sound system that is second to none. Input terminals on most models are concealed behind a door, leaving a clean and simple looking design.
Higher resolution
The main difference between the Plasma and the conventional TV set is the higher resolution. Panasonic Plasma TVs have the capability of displaying full HDTV and DTV along with XGA, SVGA and VGA signals from a computer.
No scan lines
Panasonic Plasma TVs include a built in line doubler to improve the image quality when viewing TV broadcasts and VCR tapes. This is not the case with your conventional TV set which uses an electron beam to scan the picture tube from top to bottom at regular intervals and lighting the phosphors to create the image.
Exceptional color accuracy
Panasonic Plasma TVs display an exceptional realism and are capable of displaying 16.77 million colors. This combined with subtle gradations between colors delivers a quality second to none.
One of the main advantages of Panasonic Plasma TVs is they can be hung on the wall or from a ceiling , allowing you to free up some space for other household items while still enjoying your home theater experience. Panasonic Plasma TVs have an elegant appearance that blends with just about any decor. Along with this Panasonic Plasma TVs are ideal for business purposes as they are slim, have wide screens and are a great replacement a front projection unit.
Wide viewing angle
Panasonic Plasma TVs display a viewing angle of 160 degrees, much better than a rear projection or an LCD monitor. This allows more viewers to enjoy the screen from a variety of angles.
Choosing the right one for you...
These big screen TVs can take up a lot of space so it is a good idea to work out just how much room you have before purchasing. The screens themselves go up to 73 inches not to mention the width of the whole set itself! Work out how much floor space you have before you race out and buy the biggest one you can get your hands on, and plan on around 7-9 feet distance between yourself and the set for optimal picture quality. You should also focus on picture quality. Nearly all rear projection sets can deliver high picture quality with HD content, DVD and TV programs. It is very difficult to pick between them so be sure to consult the seller about the quality before purchasing.
